This IP tried over 250 times in less than five minutes to log into my website. My website is adapted from a wordpress theme, so this IP could potentially be trying to spam. The login username it tried to use was "root" (I don't have public usernames, so I'm guessing this is the default username it uses).

that moment when you see a weird spike in your server logs and it’s not from googlebot lol. someone’s poking around where they shouldn’t be, kinda feels like leaving your front door half open at night. honestly not sure if its just a script kid or something nastier but i aint taking chances. blocked and reporting because lessons learned the hard way hurt the most. wish hackers would just take up gardening or idk crochet their passwords together.

Boy...am I glad I googled this email address. Whew... Red Flag#1: Email string started with a different email address, and changed to another. Very persistent on asking for my PayPal ID. That was my Red Flag#2. Red flag #3, emails were very vague and do not reference the item I was selling.
