I received an email on a boat that I was selling on craigslist, it only asked me what my best offer was and what condition it was in. I was suspicious since I had pictures up that show the condition of the boat. I clicked reply and saw that the return email was different from doodlebear6@aol.com - it actually showed up as rc1005sc@gmail.com I searched it and it brought me here. I think I'll be ignoring this email and possibly be flagging it as spam. If somebody can give me a good explanation for why the email would be different, I would appreciate the help.

Uhm, can someone explain why my server basically went nuts around 2:37am? Something weird showed up in the access log, looks like someone’s poking around where they shouldn’t be. Not cool at all, honestly this smells like someone trying to brute force their way in. Already blocked it but fingers crossed nothing else pops up. Maybe time to change all my passwords again just to be safe.
