Saw weird traffic hitting my server last night from some rando. No idea what they thought they'd find in my test environment, just a bunch of boring error logs. Guess someone out there is hungry for open ports or something. Honestly, they tried the dumbest old exploits, not even creative at all. My firewall just sat back sipping coffee and blocked it. Would love to know what they hoped to get from my “README.txt” or if they just like rolling the dice. Kinda makes me giggle how persistent bots are at being useless. Logs show the same thing over and over for hours, hilarious really. Maybe next time they’ll try harder or at least bring new tricks.
