It's the second time this IP got recorded in my stats with something that looks like a hack attempt. The first time it had more the appearance of a joke, and I let it slip. This time it is for the reader to decide, whether someone who searches for a file called "edit_area/edit_area.css" in "admin/fckeditor/editor//plugins/ajaxfilemanager/jscripts", "main/inc/lib/fckeditor/editor//plugins/ajaxfilemanager/jscripts", and about thirty more (similar) places, can have a purpose that may be legit. As for me, I have had Google tell me that this behaviour is a hack trying to discover "Ajax weaknesses" (whatever that may be).

There is a forum on the Net where a representative of this Bot was quoted as follows: "Our crawler, EdisterBot, may have visited your web site. If so, please know that it respects robots.txt..." This sounded so sincere that I felt obliged to check my robots.txt twice -- perhaps there was some blunder in it? There was no blunder. And fact is that EdisterBot read the entirety of a disallowed folder.
