So I noticed a weird login attempt at 3am from that digital ghost up in the logs. The server freaked out but the culprit IP slid through like a ninja doing parkour. Im juggling coffee and fail2ban rules while tryna figure out if its a harmless bot or some bored hacker. Cant decide if I should block it for good or offer it some snacks cause its persistent as my old cat. Im a sysadmin by day but these midnight shenanigans have me feeling like a character in a low budget sci fi flick. Either way id keep an eye out since something weird is definitely brewing behind the scenes.
