I did some research. It comes up as my IP address when I right click on my internet connection then click on status. This comes up as my IP4V address. But when I check my computer from websites a totally different number comes up. My research says the bad number bothering everyone is from my broadband router. There are many many different routers that use this number D-Link, Netgear Belkin and 100 more. Here is info I got 192.168.0.2 is an IP address in the range 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.255. Home networks use this address range. A router can assign 192.168.0.2 to any device (Ipad, laptop, Home computer, Mobile phone, etc.) of the local network automatically. I will call my service provider and tell him or her about the complaints here.That is my routers IP number which I can't control. Mine is different.

my centurylink modem is 192.168.0.1 and my computer ip is 192.168.0.2...You guys I have a hacker getting in my pc at will I have had 4 pcs one at a time on this centurylink server and its hacked into all of them and before I got on the internet I made sure security was on high bought a new virus killer and I cant stop the hacker..centurylink wont do a F$$$$$$ thing to stop the hacker..you think your pissed off...I could use some help this hacker has been FU$$$$$ me for 3 years now I have tried EVERYTHING...

192.168.0.1 was the IP address i was told was mine when I got internet connectivity and computer from Qwest in 2009 and 192.168.0.2 the number to use to connect to Qwest. My IP address was hijacked by a group of people with a phone number in the 415 area code in California shortly after that which fought with me over my use of the IP address and my services and email and hijacked my email as well until we migrated to Centurylink.This group was run by a man sending out email promising to make everyone who responded to it a millionaire. Then I called tech support for help and some techie told me to try the command "release IP address" which resulted in my losing the IP address in my computer field and a message coming up when I tried to repair the situation that it failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection so could not proceed. So if someone said this was your IP address it apparently was being shared by many people who were told 198.168.0.2 was the number to use to connect to Qwest. That. Number probably has changed with Centurylink so would have to be reprogrammed to new link IP address. But the IP address for the computer as well as the network access appear to have been hijacked for years. Hope that helps.

usually in the source it will tell if this came from iphone or Ipad. nothing but 192.168.0.2 in the e-mail from an AoL Subscriber. juet reading all these comments from possible complaints about hackers using this unknown IP and location. 192.168.0.2 Understood the sender was using an ipAD
